1) Investor, Business operator, and Engineer as status of residenceIn the course of incorporation in Japan, or investment in a foreign-affiliated firm in Japan, Investor/Operator as status of residence is required, if you assume a post of authorized representative of corporation and work for business management. The basic requirements are to be fullled; It is mandatory that business ofce needs to be set up and capital investment of 5 million yen or more be executed.2) Intra-company transfereeIntra-company transferee as a status of residence is required, if you are transferred from head and branch ofce in your home country to business ofce in Japan, and you intend to work in Japan.Even the case of transferee who is supposed to be transferred, still on the drawing board, prior to establishment of business ofce will be considered.Specic contents of activities are intended to cover Engineer and Specialist in Humanities/International Services as status of residence, and the following requirements are to be fullled; in his/her working history, he/she continues to be engaged in the similar type of a job for over a year prior to job transfer and so on. 6.
